WASHINGTON, D.C. – Independent Women is proud to celebrate Ellie Cohanim, senior fellow at the Center for American Safety and Security, for her appointment to Senior Policy Advisor under Ambassador Mike Waltz at the United States United Nations.

As senior fellow of Independent Women’s Center for American Safety and Security, Cohanim has helped shape national conversations around foreign policy in the Middle East. Her background as an Iranian refugee has influenced her work focusing on and combatting antisemitism and Islamic extremism.
