Many women make choices that allow them greater flexibility. We should celebrate these choices and find ways to improve opportunities so each woman can pursue her own vision of happiness, whatever that may be. Rather than creating top-down reforms or expanding government programs, policymakers should work to find ways to give women more options so they have the freedom to decide how they wish to work and to be compensated, and how to use resources for their families.
