We have the cleanest air on record having cut emissions by 78% since 1970, are number one in access to clean drinking water, and continue to clean up legacy pollution from the past. We also lead the world in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and our free market systems are cultivating technological breakthroughs that can minimize the environmental impact of our modern way of life.
During April—which is officially Earth Month and includes Earth Day celebrated on the 22nd—the rhetoric surrounding the state of our environment can swing dramatically.
