Independent Women’s External Relations (ER) team strengthens and manages relationships with the executive administration, federal and local elected officials/lawmakers, media, partners, and key stakeholders to advance the organization’s mission to build support for better solutions that impact all Americans. Through strategic communications, events, and targeted outreach, the team expands the reach and influence of IW’s policy and cultural work, which have resulted in ongoing engagements with the White House, cabinet secretaries, and congressional committees. ER plays a critical role in building awareness, generating support, and connecting Independent Women’s ideas with the audiences that can turn them into real outcomes.
