Independent Women Highlights Real-Life Impact of Working Families Tax Cuts 

DORAL, FL — As households across the country navigate rising costs, policymakers and advocates are highlighting solutions aimed at strengthening finances and expanding opportunity for all Americans.

Today, Adriana McLamb, Florida native, new mother, and marketing director for Independent Women, joined a roundtable discussion hosted by House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (MI-9) and Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-26) highlighting the positive impact of the Working Families Tax Cuts (the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act). 

The event builds on efforts to expand the Child Tax Credit, and McLamb, joined at the roundtable by her one-year-old son, expressed her gratitude for their work on the bill and for their partnership with Independent Women in promoting policies that restore the American Dream for working families.

“I really appreciate the focus on these provisions and the leadership on this issue,” said Adriana McLamb. “Policies like the Working Families Tax Cut make a real difference for families like mine, and it’s meaningful to be part of an organization that is helping elevate that message and support solutions that empower working parents.”

During the event, elected officials and attendees heard remarks from industry workers, hospitality staff, small business owners, and working moms, who all shared about how they have personally benefited from the WFTC. 

As the Trump administration seeks to tackle affordability and expand tax relief, Independent Women continues to highlight the real-life experiences of households across the country to illustrate how the administration’s affordability agenda is helping Americans keep more of their paychecks, manage rising costs, and find greater financial stability.
